 Came with scratches and dings all over it! :(May 17, 2011

I bought this watch case for my boyfriend for his birthday. I was so excited to recieive it after researching through many different options. When I opened the box from Amazon I was extremely disappointed. The watch box has a shiny black finish and there were smudges, nicks, even an actual gouge in the side of it. It looked like some one put it through some abuse. I was very sad , because I think it would be a great watch box if it had not been so damaged. I'm not sure how anyone in the quality dept for this company would let the watch box even be released for shipment. it was that bad! :( thank goodness I did not have it shipped directly as a gift, I would have been embarrassed.
Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it and I ordered another one from another company. It's too bad, because now I risk it not being here on time for the birthday if I do not pay extra shipping.

I ordered this watch case for my son for Christmas. He said it is the perfect case for his watches. He has watches with very large faces and they fit in the case with room to spare. I recommend this case to anyone that would like a stylish,well designed case for their watches.

This watch box is VERY cheap looking both inside and out. The fabric inside was not glued or sewed on securely, the window was made of cheap plastic, and the lock was finicky. The cost of of this watch box it is not worth it. I returned this item after opening it.

Flimsy lock, broken in a month.
Box has plenty of space for big (44+) watches.
Felt and pillows fit perfectly.
Not the most expensive, but looks nice on the shelf.

This watch case arrived heavily packaged and heavy in general. There is significant helft to the whole thing, and lends a very solid feel, which can be felt in it's fit and finish as well. The box is true to the description, and has a highly polished piano finish that feels dense and high quality. The lucite window is also very thick and feels insulating... this isn't some thin flexible plastic, it is every bit as solid as the rest of the case. I'm writing this review because it doesn't seem like there are enough on here, but for those who are contemplating spending an extra $10 to step up to this case, I highly recommend it. Nothing cheap at all here.
