In mode 1, the winder will turn clockwise for 20 minutes and will rest for 40 minutes. The second II mode setting is for watches that require 4750 turns per day. In mode II, the winder will alternate clockwise and counterclockwise rotation every 15 seconds, then rest for 40 minutes. To find how many turns per day your watch requires, refer to your watch manual. The winder offers a gear bearing motor which makes the winder extremely "quiet."  Nice Watch Winder, Not Great for Bigger WatchesDec 30, 2008

Product looks very nice and works as advertised. However, larger watches bump up against the top glass when it is closed and the winder is rotating (this happened when I put a Panerai Luminor Marina watch in the winder).

Great auto winder. It's pretty big, but both watches fit great and haven't stopped working since they've been in the winder.

This product does exactly what is asked and is much cheaper than some models out there. It is not fine wood but looks nice with the finish. The unit is extremely quiet and so far (3 months old) has not had any problems. I would highly recommend this for your automatic watches.

I bought this winder to keep my two automatic watches wound. I have a Sinn and a Seiko. Periodically the motor inside the box will run and slowly spin the watches. There are two settings one that only spins the watches in a clockwise direction, while the other setting rotates the watches in both directions. The motor is quiet and the box can run off of AC or battery. The box itself is nicely finished. I am happy to report that indeed this winder is keeping both of my watches wound as indicated by the movement of both watches and the power reserve indicator on my Sinn. The only complaint that I have is that there is a blue LED that indicates power and motor operation which ocassionally blinks and emits a surprising amount of light. In a dark room while trying to sleep this can actually be a bit annoying. Fortunately a small piece of masking tape over the LED sufficiently reduces the brightness. I would definitely recommend this product.

An excellent choice for the money. Has worked very well- quiet, efficient, sturdy, and attractive. Keeps two watches wound and makes it easy to rotate them in and out of the winder. Only negative observation is that it emits a blue light which, in a dark bedroom, took a little getting used to.
