I purchased this for my husband the "watch collector". He likes it. The only thing he would change - the pillows are not big enough. This makes the watches rattle.

You never know you need a watch winder until you get one ! I have 5 watches so keep 4 in the box ticking away and wear the 5th .... swapping them around as my mood takes me. The box is nicely made, unobtrusive but stylish. The winders are silent running and flexible in settings - Although I have all mine working on the same setup and haven't had any issues. Overall a very nice product for anyone who has a few watches and wants to be able to keep them all running.

Great Winder, Controls ConfusingMay 22, 2009
This is a great watch winder. Very nice finish on the wood, and it works really well. I like the fact that each of the four winders can run on different cycles and different directions. I have three watches to run in the same direction and for some strange reason, I have a chronograph (ETA 7750 movement) that has to run in the other direction to get wound. The only drawback, and it is minor, is that the order for the on/off switches for the winder don't quite match the order of the winders. I've been tempted to open it up and re-wire it just to get it to match. You kind of have to turn them off by trial and error to figure out which switch matches which winder. Also, the settings for options on each winder (timing and spin direction) isn't intuitive. They are basically binary switches whose settings correspond to different options. You can't lose the paper instructions or you'll never know what these switches mean. Of course you could go through trial and error on those as well.
I would HIGHLY recommend this winder for its quality finish, look, quiet performance and price. It is VERY nice.

This works well, looks rich and doenst take up too much room. I like the fact that each watch has its on on off switch.

This unit has operated for three months so far with no problems. It is good looking, seems good quality, and is very silent.
