I knew I was taking a chance purchasing this after reading one review. But the manufacturer (Tech Swiss) had a good reputation. I researched the correct way to wind my watch (Sturhling) and set the winder as directed. After two weeks of use, this winder consistently failed me. Also, the AC Adapter was missing upon delivery. I will give credit, however, to the distributor as they promptly provided me with a RMA# with no questions asked.
Update: The distributor gave me a partial credit for the winder. They said if I return the Adapter I will get full credit. I notified them that there was no AC Adapter in the box. They took my word for it and issued a full credit. It is too bad it didn't work for me as it is very nice looking. The two stars are for the company customer service not the item.

This watch winder is very good quality and does just what it's supposed to do. It winds your watch and looks good while doing it. Exact color of cherry finish as shown. I love it!

Ordered this in mid-December. It looks really nice and seems solidly made. But after 6 weeks it just stopped working. Of course, after 6 weeks, I didn't have the original box or receipt, so it's just landfill fodder now. My advise--either don't get this winder or keep the receipt and all materials at least until the warranty runs out.

I think this winder is a good value and I'm happy with the purchase. Quiet operation, reasonably good fit and finish, and winds watches just like it's supposed to. Two complaints (both minor): The unit is marked "Made in China" and the label is almost unnecessary: The woodwork and fit-and-finish, although again a good value, is obviously Chinese because it appears the solution to every minor flaw in the wood is "More lacquer!" Also, the unit is pretty big. I suppose it couldn't be too small or it wouldn't have room for watch rotation, but it was bigger than expected. I bought a double unit for myself and a single unit for my father as a birthday gift. I think the double unit is a better value, but obviously unnecessary if you only have one watch.
