 Great entry level pen display boxDec 24, 2011

This is a great pen display box, it takes a bit of desk space but that is expected when the box can hold 13 pens in a tray. For the price and the quality I gave this pen box four stars.
Pros:
- Special hinges are used on the window door to make closing the lid a bit quieter.
- A slight smell of wood when you open it, which is great considering most things you buy these days are not made of real wood. You can see the real wood when you remove the pen trays as the bottom is unfinished wood.
- The knobs are of a nice sturdy quality and just big enough to be useful to easily pull out the bottom drawer.
- The pen tray is made of a solid piece of wood covered with nice felt.
- The grooved slots for pens are very long, you could fit an 8 inch long pen in here!
Cons:
- The window is made of a cheap but acceptable plastic.
- The bottom drawer does not have rails so the drawer itself can slip out and will tilt down the further you pull it out.
- The pen trays are removable, but are not the easiest to remove as there are no tabs.
- The bottom of the pen tray should have been lacquered instead of just being raw wood.

Exquiste Box, a piece of furniture well made hold alot of pens very pleased now my pens are not cluttering up all the desk and drawers
