This was purchased as a gift. After receiving it, it was a battle to let it go and not keep it myself. It has a very minimalist design but with quality construction. The leather on the top has a lizard texture but with a rich feel. The only negative is that there is no metal hinge but only two strips of fabric that prevent the lid from falling back. I don't know how this will hold up to active use and a metal hinge assembly would have been a much better design choice. But other than that it was well worth the price and highly recommended. Four stars only for the lack of a hinge assembly.

I bought this product because my watches and jewelry were laying around, unprotected.
I just received the Watches and Jewelry Box Leather Storage Case by Tech Swiss. My first impression was that it looked really nice and sturdy. It has a snake skin design on the front, but it's not ridiculous looking. You can not see the shiny, leather snake skin from a distance. Honestly, I don't like snake skin designs, but because it's simple on this product, I actually like it.
It's not a 5-star quality box, but it's well-built. I only beginning my jewelry collection. The watch cushion inserts come out, so you can easily wrap your watches around and then nestle them in the case. I like how the interior has the nice felt material to prevent scratches and cushion/protect my jewelry.
The case is secured by a magnet. However, the flap design holding the magnet looks kind of cheap. It's not to the point where it's going to rip off or you'll be bugged, but the cutting isn't top-notch precise.
Other reviewers mention about the fabric hinge thing. For my personal taste, I like the soft fabric instead of a metal hinge that can potentionally make the box heavier and also rust.
If you want a VERY high quality fancy box, pass on this. If you want a simple, professional, and inexpensive case, this is made for you.
If I run into any problems, I'll edit this review.

Purchased for my husband - Very easy to store watches with the watch cushions being soft but not too soft and the watch slots are wide enough for Tags. The two compartments below the watch area are perfect for cuff links, tie clips and his wedding band (with room to spare). He is very pleased with the product.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband-to-be. It was delivered quickly and was even wrapped in a cloth bag similar to what I get with my smaller Coach handbags. I will admit, my expectations were not that high, but I didn't want to spend a lot. The box was heavier than I expected, and when I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised. There are five watch slots with watch rounds, and the lining is very nice faux suede.

I just purchased this watch box as a christmas gift for my boyfriend. I was torn between this one and a nice black leather one (without the window display) that had a metal clasp. Unfortunately the other one sold out so I got this one. I was rather disappointed when I recieved it as the snakeskin or w/e material the lid is made of had a bluish/green sheen in the light. I was hoping it was going to be more subdueded looking. I also didn't like the magnetic clasp and felt that it made the whole box look rather cheap.
However, I did put a watch inside and it fit rather well. The watch wasn't a huge one but it was of decent size. You could also move the boards to make bigger slots if you took one pillow out. The pillows were rather hard though. I also liked that there was a space for cufflinks or other jewelry. Overall it was well made for the price; I just didn't like the appearance.
I decided to return this one because of the color and the clasp. I wanted one that was more clean and sophisticated looking. I have since decided on a plain black leather one, with a metal clasp, that holds 10 watches for the exact same price.
