This box was mis-represented in the description. I thought the 'wood finish' description meant it was some kind of veneer. It is not wood. It is plastic. AND the plastic has such a strong smell that it is stinking up my whole office!! However, if this plastic manufacturing smell dies off, the box is a good quality PLASTIC box.

I received this box for Christmas and it is very nice. Hinges are well made and the lid is well placed to accomodate "thick" watches such as my Seiko Contoura. It holds 10 watches nicely on the soft "pillows". The key is useless because if someone wanted to "steal", obviously they could just take the entire box. Overall, I give it a 5 Star.

I got this watch box for my husband as part of his anniversary gift and he loves it. I think it looks and feels like a quality box. My husband has some bulky watches and they fit in there great. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this watch box for my brother in law for his birthday....he is to watches as women are to shoes. He loves it, it's very well made and sturdy for only being $40. The wood grain is very nice. The lock on the box works fine, but I think is more for show....wouldn't you just steal the box if you couldn't unlock it? Anyway, he spent an hour that night arranging his watches on their respective "pillows" and couldn't be happier with it!

Unlike a couple of other reviewers, I wouldn't exactly consider this a "quality" product. I got what I paid for. It is a decent plastic box, with some spare fabric shavings and glue floating around inside. I do not regret this purchase, but I'll do better next time when I'm not in such a rush. Still, it looks nice from a distance when my watches are peeking out the window.
Correction, I got what I paid for *except* the tassle shown in the picture. Truth be told, when I couldn't get the box I really wanted immediately because it was out of stock, I bought this one ... for the tassle. I did not receive a tassle, however. :-(

I contacted the seller just after posting this review (i.e. <4 days ago), I am now the proud owner of a new "key tassle". Now, I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. :-)

Here is a telling testimonial. I ordered a 2nd one of these boxes. So, they must not be too bad, huh? It just arrived minutes ago. Again, no tassle. I'll contact the seller about my tassle again.
