A bit on the expensive sideDec 19, 2008
I've bought this to harbor the watches I've been leaving around the bedroom, purchased it on a LATE Friday night out of impulse and got it on Wednesday. The outside of the box is really smooth, quality finishing touch with the see through glass top, the key works well but I'd rather just have an easier way to keep the lid shut, like a push button or a turning knob, the screws holding the key plate in front of the box are rusted a little. The inside of the box is of a lesser quality, the fabric on the right side connecting to the lid are a bit loose from its glue and made it look uneven with the other side when lid is shut, the removable cushions aren't really well made, and some felt quite a bit resistance when I tried to put them into the dividers. The dividers were a bit closer together than I'd liked, I have a couple Ecko watches with relatively large faces, and I could not put them right next to each other, either have to put one near top and one near bottom or in alternate slots. The lid doesn't have a lot of clearance from the watches when closed, one of the new watches I bought recently (Fossil) had a higher clearance, I wasn't able to close the lid with that watch in it without having the glass touching the watch's face, luckly my wrist is not that big, after adjusting the watch band it can now fit in the box with no problem, but might not be the case for someone else.
All in all it's not a bad deal getting this box, then again I bought this out of impulse, if I really did my research I might have gone with another product.
