close but no cigar.Mar 06, 2008
By Billy Bathgate watch out for this piece. the so called pillows are hard and do not give when you try to place your watch around them. the pillows must be bigger than my wrist, because when I try to close my watches around them I cant. and the pillows wont budge an inch...what genious thought up that one ? also there is no type of felt or cushion tabs on the bottom , so be careful not to scratch the surface of your furniture when sliding it accross. I am lucky to still have in my possesion all the watch boxes from INVICTA watches that I previously purchased, so I replaced the so called pillows with real actual watch pillows. And now as far as whats good about the storage box....it is big and deep enough to more than accommodate your largest watch. I know because it happily swallowed up my 53mm 52mm & 50mm INVICTA watches. the outside of the box is handsom and has a nice finish to it...and the lid accommodates room for the watches when you close it. Well thats all folks ..hope my review was helpful.

Cushy box for your watch.Dec 26, 2008

Okay, yeah, that one fellow is right, the watch pillows are ridiculously too tough. The remedy is that if you're a watch collector, you probably have all your original boxes: so dig out your pillows and replace the rigid pillows with your original ones.
That said, this box will also need a couple felt pads on the base, since it doesn't come with any rubber or felt. The case could possibly mess up your desk, tallboy, or whatever. I added felts to the bottom of mine immediately after opening.
Those factors mentioned, the box is gorgeous. It features a sturdy hardwood construction with elegant brushed hardware. Real glass finishes the piece to make it all the more luxurious. The drawer slides easily. The color is true to the photo, a rich burgundy that matches my light wood furniture and with a tan interior to set off the chrome, leather and metallic timepieces it houses.
It's not huge either. That photo makes it look like a closet. I'd say its stature easily compares to your partner's jewelry box, perhaps a little taller. It's an excellent piece and will certainly take some abuse. I certainly recommend.

Attractive display for oversize watchesOct 27, 2007
By M. K. Watson My partner loves watches - really BIG watches. But they'd become clutter - on the dresser, the table, in drawers. She really likes this case because it's attractive, it shows off her collection, and she knows where to find the watch she wants to wear. And I scored with a great gift. (And no more clutter.) Win-win.

I purchased this watch box for my husband, who is becoming a collector of watches, much to my di$may! Anyhow, I bought it for a birthday present and I was so impressed with the quality and style. Nicely made, looks good on the dresser...something I don't mind out in plain sight. It has several spaces for watches and a drawer for more below. A must have for watch owners!!

Very nice watch box.Mar 23, 2008

This box is great for the price! I will buy another one soon (too many watches). The compartments are huge for even the largest of watches. If you have smaller watches, you can fit two on each oillow. Seems very well made. Very nicely done. The only thing I would change is the pillows are almost too wide, if you push them way down in the pocket, you have to pull with some force to get them out. I would recommend this box to anybody.
