 Nice Box but nasty protection on plexi coverMar 30, 2010
The box is very nice and looks to be well constructed.
The problem I had with it is that it comes with a clear protective
cover over the plesiglass window.
When you remove the protection a glue residue is left behind.
The residue is extremely difficult to remove.
Finally resorted to use WD-40 having to apply several times.
Took more than 1/2 hour of work and it still is not perfect.
Very very annoying.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend for Valentines Day. He just recently started buying watches so I thought it would be nice to have a nice watch box to display them. The watches he had, had big faces so I was really excited to find this XL case ! I liked the black matte finish it matched perfectly with a valet i had bought for him a couple years ago. I hate shopping online because you never know what the item will look like when you receive it, pictures aren't that easy online lol but this was as nice as i hoped for. It showed up a day late though :( But he loved it ....

I was disappointed with this purchase. I bought as a gift and the box itself is wonderful and fits all his watches perfectly. It came very well packaged. But the film that covers the plexi-glass left a nasty residue. When you give something as a gift it's embarrassing that the recipient has to deal with trying to clean it up. It made the gift appear cheap and it wasn't. I don't know if the residue ever came off. I emailed the company and they gave absolutely no response. Very disappointing. While the box itself was very nice I wouldn't recommend purchasing unless you don't mind having to deal with this type of problem.
