I bought this as a gift for my husband who collects watches. I had read such amazing reviews for it here, and based on the description, I was absolutely expecting more. The finish looks like a sticker. The top is a static-y plastic which collects dust and has dents in it. The pillows that the watches go on are all different sizes and not consistent and were covered in a powder. SAVE SOME EXTRA MONEY and get a REAL wood box if you want a NICE gift.

While it had to happen sooner or later...After years of stellar purchases and service the other shoe has dropped. This is one of the worst made and cheaply looking products I have ever seen. For fifty dollars I understand I was not purchaseing a top of the line watch box but my 9 year old could have made a better product in art class. Product finish looks plastic and worse yet the window is nothing but a flimsy piece of plastic. Wish I had read the reviews instead of just looking at the average star rating.

The box is very nice, especially considering the price. The window is plastic, not glass but that may be a good thing since constantly slamming the top down would easily crack the top if it was glass. It's not one of those watch boxes that look like they cost hundreds of dollars but it is a nice, affordable piece to display a man or womens watch collection!

I have purchased several watch storage boxes from Amazon with good luck. When I saw this box at a great price ($39.95), I decided to pick one up. I was also pleased to see it has extra large compartments that will easily fit my larger pieces.
Just received the box and I am very pleased with the quality. This is a great value and I'll likely pick up a few more.

I received the watch box today and I was excited to see what it looked like after all the great reviews. To my surprise I opened the box and there were scratches all over the box, rips and tears in each compartment and glue all over the top of the box. Completely upset with this purchase as I was going to give it as a gift this week. I just called Amazon and they won't even exchange the box, they will only give a refund. Not a fan!
