 A perfect solution to store and showcase big time piecesJan 07, 2010

I wasn't quite sure what to expect at the price point offered for this 24 slot watch box. I can now, however, remark that this is a great item. The box was packaged carefully within two cartons and cushioned with styrofoam on the corners - even after the closest inspection I couldn't find any flaws. Fit and finish are also very nice down to the gold handle for the lower level and gold hinges on the top level. The construction is sturdy and components don't look or feel cheap - the glass top is actually "glass". I have loaded up the top tier with 12 medium to large sized time pieces that range from 40mm all the way up to 48mm (Renato/Invicta fans should be safe here all the way up to 52mm plus crown and pusher(s)). The bottom drawer is nice for 42mm and smaller watches (I've got some old school Timex digital watches in there stored safely for 80's day at the office!). In summary, this watch box is a great buy and an altogether nice way to store and showcase your favorite time pieces. Large, Medium, and Small watches can all rest safely together under the same roof for once. Case closed...just pull the trigger on this item and order it.

I collect watches for a hobby and I did not really have any formal place to store my watches until I saw this. At first I wasn't sure if the quality was going to be good because of its price point but when I received this for Christmas and opened it up, my eyes were impressed. The finishing and the compartments are just right for my current watches. When I run out space, I'll definitely be buying another one of these. I highly recommend this product and coming from this seller you can't go wrong.

I collect watches and most of my current watches are large (45-52mm cases). I have 8 Invictas and 2 TW Steels that all fit in the top compartments with enough room to not be touching the watches on either side. The lower drawer compartments are slightly smaller, but still more than adequate to hold large faced watches. For large metal bands or extend bands, the pillows allow you to remove stuffing as another reviewer mentioned to accomodate the size. The box is sharp and this price point cannot be beat. I do wish that it had a lock though.

I received this Storage Unit about a month ago and was immediately impressed. If you are like me, with many watches laying around all over your Dresser, this product is for you. First and foremost, the Storage Unit was packaged in a shipping box that absorbed lots of abuse. The corners were bent on all four sides and I was scared it would be damaged when I opened it, but that was not the case. Inside, it was cushioned by packing material on all sides and there is no way it could have been damaged, this side of being Crushed by a huge package being set on top of it. The unit itself is impressive, with each compartment having nicely padded cushions suitable for all my watches which go up to 52mm. The pull-out Drawer opens smoothly with plenty of room also. When closed, the display window on top serves a purpose I hadn't thought of. It is nice to see all my watches arranged on top, but with the box near a window, it keeps my Citizen "Eco-Drive" charged and the Luminescent Dials of my Watches ready to be seen in the Dark. If you are in need of Storage, this is it, at what I consider a Bargain for what quality you receive.

I ordered this case for my fiance who has collected quite a few watches over the years. It is a beautiful watch case and fits most watches nicely. Some bulky watches will not fit in the lower drawer.If you are a man with many BULKY watches, you may not like this product.
Overall it shipped quickly and it was a good quality case. I love how it looks on the dresser and it helps keep a person's watch collection nice and neat.
